Regents Advisory Council on Libraries to Discuss Recent Preliminary Recommendations in Saratoga November 4

Join members of the Regents Advisory Council on Libraries and other library leaders to discuss the future of library services in New York State at 2020 Vision for Library Service in New York State: The Discussion Continues during the 2011 New York Library Association Conference in Saratoga Springs.  The Regents Advisory Council on Libraries is holding this open meeting at 3:45 p.m. on Friday November 4 in Ballroom 2 at the Saratoga Hilton.  NYLA Conference attendees will have the opportunity to comment on "Creating the Future: A 2020 Vision and Plan for Library Service in New York State; Preliminary Recommendations of the New York State Regents Advisory Council on Libraries to the New York State Board of Regents (First draft for discussion, October 2011)"   http://www.nysl.nysed.gov/libdev/adviscns/rac/creating.htm .
