New York Online Virtual Electronic Library

The following NOVELNY databases contain information to help teachers prepare lesson plans and class assignments:

Northern New York Library Network

WorldCat provides access to OCLC holdings and allows for interlibrary loan requests outside of the region. CEWW SLS members are welcome to search the catalog, but placing a request must be done by the School Library System office and requires a username and password.
   
 
ICEPAC: The North Country's cooperative online catalog. Records are updated quarterly by each system on behalf of member libraries. Searching this catalog is available to patrons and librarians.
ICICILL is the Interlibrary loan module used in our region. Allows requests to be made from any libraries that are part of the regional 3R's system. Transactions are facilitated by librarians for their patrons and require a username and password for use.
 

The resources above are provided free of charge.  To purchase additional resources through CoSer 508 please review the 2011-2012 Database Catalog below.

The Online Database Resources portion of CoSer 508 (6316-508) supports the instructional program and information needs of students, teachers, administrators and staff. Participating districts will receive direct access to remote electronic information and instructional library resources of their choosing from over 50 vendors and hundreds of resource choices. The School Library System will offer instruction in online search strategies, as well as technical support to library media personnel.
